On our Morocco culinary tour you’ll head from vibrant Casablanca to Fez the Spiritual capital of the kingdom and visit the charming fishing town of Essaouira, and finally, explore extraordinary Marrakech, the most African of Morocco’s cities. Along the way you’ll experience a Moroccan cooking class in three different cities, bargain at the souk (the fresh food market), tour the highlights of each area, and stay in stunning Moroccan riads.
Alongside our expert chefs, you’ll learn Moroccan cooking techniques and recipes for traditional Moroccan foods such as tagines, couscous and pastilla. Outside the kitchen, you will explore Moroccan culture through its cuisine as you discover fresh food and spice markets and dine at unique local restaurants.
Ready for the discovery ?
We will pick you up at Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport and drive you to our comfortable hotel located in the center of Casablanca. If your flight arrives before dinner, you’ll get your first taste of delicious Moroccan cuisine at one of Casablanca’s popular restaurants.
Morning departure to Fez , Start with a visit out into the medina’s local souks led by a Moroccan chef. Discover how locals buy vegtables, meat and other goods direct from sellers in the market.
Back to the Ryad for a cooking workshop on the rooftop or in the gardens, and finish with a relaxing lunch to taste what you have just cooked.
You leave the workshop with a detailed recipe sheet and your mind full of new ideas to try out back home.
Depart for a guided tour of Fes el Bali (Old Fes) to learn some of Fes’s history, tour the souks, see the mosques and medersas and visit the famous leather tanneries.
Drive to Marrakech , full-day tour of Marrakech, including Bahia Palace, royal Saadian Tombs, Jewish mellah, ancient medina. Overnight in lovely old-city riad.
Tour around the ancient city wall and palm grove, including a visit to the Yves St. Laurent gardens. Evening cooking class. Overnight in lovely old-city riad.
Drive to the coastal town of Essaouira , early evening cooking class. Overnight in an ocean-front riad.
Morning tour of Essaouira ,perhaps take a camel ride on the beach.Afternoon drive to Casablanca .
Breakfast , Visit Hassan II Mosque & Airport drop off.
